Jim Rottkamp State Farm is seeking an experienced, sales-driven Life Insurance Specialist with a proven track record of success in life insurance production. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional who excels at building relationships, conducting meaningful financial protection conversations, and helping individuals and families make confident decisions about their future.
We are looking for a high-performing sales professional who understands how to identify customer needs, present tailored solutions, and consistently achieve production goals.
Following an initial training period, this position will transition to a hybrid schedule with a combination of in-office and remote work.
Required Qualifications
• Active Life & Health insurance license required
• Proven experience selling life insurance products required
• Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding production goals
• Strong understanding of life insurance concepts and needs-based selling
• Experience using CRM or insurance agency management systems
What You'll Do
• Generate new business through referrals, networking, lead follow-up, and relationship-building
• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify life and health insurance opportunities
• Quote, present, and close life insurance solutions tailored to customer needs
• Explain policy features, benefits, and coverage options in a clear, consultative manner
• Conduct policy reviews to identify additional protection opportunities
• Assist customers with policy changes, claims support, and ongoing service needs
• Maintain a strong pipeline and consistent follow-up process to achieve production goals
• Build long-term client relationships that drive retention and referrals
• Stay current on industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
